This ninety-nine minute original movie production includes rare footage of racing at the famous Cecil County Drag O Way in Rising Sun, Maryland.
This video features several match races run during 1965, 1966 and 1967. You will see Malcolm Durham and his 1965 427 powered Chevelle taking on Bud Shellenberger and his 1966 427 powered altered wheel based Falcon Ranchero. Next you see Phil Bonner and his 1965 Daddy Warbucks Injected Falcon take on Malcolm Durham's brand new Funny Corvair. You will also see Fast Eddie Shartman and his 1966 Flip Top Comet Funny Car take on Bob Harrop and his 1965 AWB Dodge. Harrop crashes the Dodge in the second round and you see all the details. More Funny Car action is included with a match-up between Ronnie Sox and his Hemi Cuda and Dyno Don Nicholson and his Eliminator I Flip Top Comet. Bill Jenkins also shows up at Cecil County with his 1967 427 Camaro and takes on Jere Stahl in his Street Hemi Plymouth.
We also have extensive coverage of the 1966 Mr. Factory Super Stock Showdown run at Cecil. This segment includes: The Ramcharger '65 AWB Dodge, Al Graeber "Tickle Me Pink" '66 Hemi Charger, The Melrose Missile Topless Plymouth, Bud Faubel's Honker '65 AWB Dodge,, Phil Bonner's '65 Falcon, Bill Lawton and the Tasca Ford "Mystery 9" Mustang, Bud Shellenberger's '66 427 Ranchero, James Keese 427 Chev II and Ronnie Sox with his Injected Hemi Cuda. Back in 1966 they ran all the cars for first place money then they ran them all again for runner-up money. What a show and you get to see it all.
