Forty-seven minute action packed video covering Flashback Friday drag racing at Beaver Springs Dragway. See Thirty-Four Nostalgia Super/Stockers representing Dodge, Ford, Chevrolet, Plymouth, Pontiac and Mercury.
The first two rounds of time trials are shown “unplugged” and that means there is no narration added to the visual experience. You will see screaming burn outs, hard dry hops, and pegged rev launches. The sights and sounds are unbelievable.
We also show several of the Gasser style vehicles that were running during the program. There is a story about a small block powered 1959 VW that you will really enjoy. They also had an injected 55 Corvette that was too cool.
When darkness falls upon the track, we take you through the first two rounds of N/SS and narrate the match ups so you can follow all the action that takes place. It is terrific seeing these historic cars running during the night time hours. There is really something special about seeing these cars running in the darkness. I guess it is sort of like a 1960's street race on a Friday night. We also show the N/SS semifinal and final rounds following by interviews with the winner and runner-up.
They also had several exhibition runs during the evening and we have included that action as well. You see a match up between two blown altereds, a turbo charged Camaro and Danny O’Day with his Super Winch Wheelstander. Cool stuff!
We received a lot of positive feedback on what we did in our Nostalgia Super Stocks UNPLUGGED video (#159) so we have included some more non narrated footage in this great video. That combined with the eliminations narration will make this a special video for your personal library. I am sure you will crank up the volume and enjoy the sights and stereo sounds of this video over and over again. Watching these cars is just like turning the clock back to the 1960's when the S/S and FXers were setting the drag racing world on fire.
