This one-hour video looks at the activities found at the annual FORDFE Nationals. On the show car field we had several rare FE powered vehicles in attendance including: Bill Dismuke's '63 ½ Lightweight Ford Galaxie, Rusty Gillis' '69 Cobra Jet Mustang Super Stocker, Bill Honnell's original '64 Ford Fairlane Thunderbolt, Bill Honnell's Boss 429 powered Mercury Cyclone and many more. We also captured a lot of the drag racing action and you see a variety of cars: Dragsters, Altereds, Gassers, Super Stockers and Stockers. We did a profile story featuring the Big Chief '34 Ford Gasser out of Andalusia, Alabama and the Big Iron '51 Chev Gasser. The Texas Outsiders Nostalgia Super Stock Association staged a race within the race and we take you through the elimination rounds right down to the final run. They put on a great show with a combination of Ford and Chrysler Super Stock racers. Don't let the FORD name on this event fool you there are cars of all makes and classifications in this video.
